INTRODUCTION

  1. Welcome to Ask Tarot! These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and services, including tarot readings, Reiki sessions, digital products, and physical goods.
  2. By using this website or purchasing a service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
  3. We may update these terms from time to time. Please check this page regularly to stay informed.
  4. DISCLAIMER: Ask Tarot services are for guidance, reflection, inspiration and relaxation only. Tarot and Reiki are not a substitute for medical, legal, financial, psychological or professional advice. Results are not guaranteed. 18+.



1. Tarot Readings (Email, Zoom, and In-Person)

  1. All tarot readings are for entertainment purposes only and should not be considered a substitute for professional legal, medical, or financial advice.

  2. Readings must be paid in full at the time of booking via Stripe.

  3. Zoom Reading Policies:

    • Camera On Requirement: Clients must have their camera on during the session. No camera = no reading & no refund.
    • Cancellation Policy: You must cancel at least 48 hours in advance to reschedule or receive a refund.
    • No-Show Policy: If you do not show up, no refund will be given.
    • Late Arrival: You have a 10-minute grace period. After that, the session is cancelled with full payment taken.
    • One-Person Readings: Readings are for one person only—if additional people appear on camera, the call will be terminated with no refund.
    • Attire Requirement: Clients must be appropriately dressed for video calls. Any nudity, inappropriate clothing, or offensive attire will result in an immediate termination of the session with no refund.
    • No Disruptions: The reading must take place in a quiet, private space. If excessive background noise, interruptions, or distractions occur, the session may be ended without refund.

  4. Email Readings: No follow-up questions are included. Delivery time is 24 hours to 3 days.

2. Reiki Healing & Energy Work

  1. Reiki sessions are intended to support well-being but are not a replacement for medical treatment.
  2. Distance Reiki requires the name, age, and condition of the recipient to focus the healing.
  3. Reiki appointments must be cancelled 48 hours in advance for a refund.

3. Digital & Physical Products

  1. Digital products (e.g., tarot e-books, PDFs) are non-refundable once purchased.
  2. Physical products will be shipped within the estimated timeframe displayed at checkout.
  3. If an item is lost or damaged in transit, please contact us within 7 days for a resolution.

PAYMENT & SECURITY

  1. Payments are processed securely via Stripe. We do not store full payment details.
  2. By making a purchase, you confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.
  3. We reserve the right to cancel an order or booking if fraud is suspected.

ATTIRE & ENVIRONMENT POLICY (ZOOM & IN-PERSON READINGS)

  1. Appropriate Attire:
  • Clients must be fully clothed and dressed appropriately during Zoom or in-person sessions.
  • Nudity, revealing clothing, or offensive attire will result in an the session being terminated without refund.
  1. Distraction-Free Environment:
  • Clients must ensure a quiet, private space for the session in order to focus on their energy.
  • No other people should be present unless it is a group reading and you are taking turns to be in front of the camera, remember focus is required for a reading.
  1. Animals Policy:
  • No pets or animals should be present during a Zoom tarot reading or in-person session (excluding certified assistance animals).
  • Excessive background noise or disruptions from pets may result in poor readings or if excessive early termination with no refund, concentration is required for a tarot reading by the reader.
  • Reiki sessions for animals are a separate service and must be booked by enquiry.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

  1. All content on this website, including text, images, and digital downloads, is owned by Ask Tarot and may not be copied or redistributed without permission.
  2. Purchased tarot readings are for personal use only and may not be shared publicly.

LIABILITY & DISCLAIMERS

  1. We make every effort to provide accurate and insightful readings; however, we do not guarantee specific outcomes.
  2. Ask Tarot is not liable for any actions you take based on a reading or healing session.
  3. We do not accept responsibility for technical issues (e.g., Zoom disruptions, email delivery failures) beyond our control.

PRIVACY & DATA PROTECTION

  1. We collect and process data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  2. By using this website, you consent to our data collection practices as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
  3. We comply with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

APPLICABLE LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION
